Wine Wednesday:: Bordeaux Blend from Fig and Olive in Midtown NYC

Wine Wednesday 🍷 Have been enjoying some non Napa wines for a change recently and tried this Médoc Bordeaux blend from Chateau Lalonde at @figandolive in NYC. While I always love a Bordeaux blend (blend of Cabernet and Merlot) I find myself leaning towards the Médoc blends over the Saint Émilion blends, probably since they have a higher % of Cabernet, which I have come to love over the last 18 months. Love the black fruit notes of cassis and blackberry followed by a hint of oak and spices. Do you have a preference between the Bordeaux regions? I love it all at the end of the day. Bubbles up!
