Shafer Vineyards Wine

Night #1 in Napa Valley consisted of @shafervineyards 2017 TD-9 Cabernet Sauvignon. Not much fruit but a bit of scorched earth and herbal flavors that are well rounded with a medium to full bodied finish. While it was a lovely wine it wasn’t my favorite. Definitely a good wine if you want light on the front like a Pinot with a bigger finish. I need to try some other Shafer wines though for sure. Napa adventures continue today! Bubbles up!
