Wine Wednesdays featuring @we.are.washington @bleightonwines Petit Verdot and a day late for #nationalwineday. This is one of my all time favorite wines. Unsuspecting that pure Petit Verdot grape. Typically used for blending, this 100% has strong flavors of cassis and blackberry complemented by some earthy gravel notes. Very rich but I think officially medium bodied. There is a hint of dark chocolate to me that melts all of the flavors together. Pour moi, c’est parfait! Bubbles up!
