
First time to @recklessnoodles and dang. It did not disappoint! So happy to have this so close by, though dangerous!!
App:
-Caramelized Pork Fresh Roll: it tasted like heavenly pork belly in the middle, light fresh and the sauce had a nice kick. This is a fan fav from my research but I can see why
Cocktails:
-Rebel Without a Cause: mezcal, amaro, coriander spiced red bell pepper shrub, Pechaud’s bitters, lemon. Refreshing, balanced and delightful
-Old Man and the Sea-Stiggin’s Plantation pineapple rum, cynar, fernet, angostura bitters, lime. Not as big a fan of this one I think it needed more lime, but that’s just me.
Entrees:
-Braised Beef Cheek Noodle: the beef was so tender, the sauce had a hint of sweetness balanced by some Sichuan heat which rocked my world. This was on the richer side.
-Wok Seared Turmeric Rockfish: wow the balance of all the herbs (mint, Thai basil, dill, fennel, lemongrass, etc) were an amazing combo to the noodles that had a hint of coconut milk and the super flavorful turmeric rockfish.
Having both of these entrees together was the move, a richer dish balanced by a lighter one. Looking forward to going back for happy hour. Not pictured: a few @changbeerusa beers 🍻 Bubbles up!
