
Italian Wednesdays! Last week we made another dish from the @babboristorante @mario.batali cookbook: Mint Tagliatelle with Lamb and Olives. The lamb was so tender after brazing it for over an hour in red wine, and the mint brightened the whole dish. I love fresh pasta, we got this pasta from @delaurentifoodandwine in @pikeplacepublicmarket and lamb from @donandjoesmeats . We paired the meal with a @caymuscab Zin. The perfect pairing with the lamb. The higher alcohol content, the additional sweetness of overripe bramble fruit was a beautiful complement to the meal. Def check out this wine. Bubbles up!
